SDPP(Surrey Disabled People’s Partnership) is an independent organisation that became a registered charity in 1996 and a company limited by guarantee in 2014. We provide a range of free, confidential and independent services, run by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals, including our amazing volunteers.

Advocacy in Surrey

Providing Care Act Advocacy, IMHA and a discretionary service of generic Advocacy to eligible people in Surrey – in partnership with Matrix. Jointly funded by Surrey County Council and Health. Go to OUR SERVICES – ADVOCACY to find out more and make a referral

Advocacy in Slough

Providing all statutory advocacy services in Slough – Care Act, IMHA, IMCA (including DoLS, RPR and Litigation friend), Health Complaints and generic advocacy. Brokerage Service

Marianne’s Community Café is a safe, welcoming community venue in the centre of Staines-upon Thames. It is a bright, friendly and inclusive Café offering an accessible, free and confidential Information & Welfare Benefits Advice service, alongside a team of volunteers providing you with great coffee and cake Café experience! COVID 19

Covid 19 Due to the current public health crisis owing to the outbreak of Covid-19, we find ourselves living through new and challenging times. SDPP have adapted as an organisation in the way services are delivered, in order to continue to provide comprehensive and valuable support to people. As an organisation we have always utilised technology and we have found that the current situation has prompted us to utilise this better!

Our Advocacy services continue to operate.

More of this support is via phone, text, email, video conferencing and we look to find the best method of communication on an individual basis. Our teams are equipped to carry out home visits, visits to care homes and supported living settings, with a robust risk assessment process in place to protect you, your families and our workers and their families.

If you or a client need support from an Advocate, please do get in touch - to make a referral or for information and/or signposting - we will always do our absolute best to support you and find ways that work for you.

Our Information and Benefits Advice service is open- by telephone, email and in person at Marianne’s Community Café – please check ahead regarding opening times as we have had to work within Government guidelines during periods of local and national lockdowns.
